Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is facing growing pressure from US officials and the family of his prominent accuser Virginia Giuffre to testify in the US about his links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to the BBC, Democrat Congressman Ro Khanna said the Royal Family had not been transparent, while Democrat Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez stated that King Charles III should direct his brother to go to the US to answer questions.
Earlier, the King expressed the Royal Family's willingness to support police investigations into the scandal.
Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and settled with Giuffre in 2022 without admitting liability.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace indicated support for police inquiries, emphasizing the King's care for abuse victims.
Thames Valley Police is currently reviewing a complaint regarding Andrew's alleged sharing of confidential information with Epstein, with accusations that he compromised his role as a trade envoy.
The former prince's lack of response to US subpoenas has caused significant frustration, especially as fresh allegations emerge, including claims that a second woman was sent to the UK by Epstein for an encounter with him.
Democratic lawmakers continue to press for Andrew to provide evidence, citing the need for justice for Epstein's victims. Khanna stated the Royal Family has a moral obligation to assist the victims and compensate them for their suffering.
As scrutiny mounts, Andrew remains living at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate while his residence undergoes renovations.
Congresswoman Fernandez reiterated calls for Andrew's transparency and suggested inquiries should occur in both the US and England concerning the allegations against him.
Sky Roberts, brother of Giuffre, urged Andrew to appear before Congress, adding to the growing chorus demanding accountability.
The recent release of Epstein-related documents has intensified focus on the Royal Family, with lawmakers confirming multiple attempts to prompt Andrew's testimony.
