The park has reportedly seen four dolphin fatalities within the past year, sparking outrage and demands for accountability from animal rights advocates. Recent drone footage revealed distressing visuals of dolphins housed in murky green water, prompting urgent calls from welfare organizations like UrgentSeas, which have been actively documenting the conditions.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the execution of a search warrant on social media, stating: "I will not tolerate any animal abuse." This comes after claims that park management obstructed wildlife officials from assessing the wellbeing of the animals.

Local media reports indicate that three dolphins perished in October alone, with one occurring earlier this month due to a head injury while performing for spectators. The Gulf World Marine Park is home to various species, including bottlenose dolphins, sea lions, and penguins.

Phil Demers, director of UrgentSeas, expressed grave concerns about the park's conditions, emphasizing the urgent need for intervention to rescue the animals currently facing dangers.
