NEW YORK — In a shocking incident on Saturday morning, three individuals were found stabbed at the iconic Grand Central subway station. This alarming event unfolded shortly after a 9:40 a.m. emergency call alerted the New York Police Department (NYPD) to an assault taking place within the station. Responding officers encountered a man armed with a knife, who was subsequently shot after they discharged their firearms. Although details remain unclear about the exact number of shots fired, it has been confirmed that the suspect is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.

The three victims of the stabbing — including an 84-year-old male, a 65-year-old male, and a 70-year-old female — have been reported to be in stable condition. Additionally, two officers involved in the incident are being evaluated at a hospital for precautionary measures. As of now, investigators are working to ascertain whether the stabbings occurred on a subway platform or while aboard a train.
