A leopard burst into a liquor store in Rajasthan, India, terrorising staff and customers on CCTV footage.
First, the animal attacked a cleaning worker, raking hairs and biting. Moments later it nearly struck a salesman who tried to flee the scene.
Employees and patrons quickly closed the shop and pushed the animal beneath a counter, effectively trapping it. When officials arrived, they used tranquilising agents to subdue the leopard, which was then removed from the building.
After about five hours of containment, wildlife officers captured the animal and, following a health inspection, released it back into the surrounding wilderness.
The incident highlights the increasing risk of wild animals venturing into urban environments and the importance of rapid response to protect human safety.
