Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Concert After Security Threat

US country star Ella Langley said she had to cancel her sold‑out show in Tulsa in the middle of the night after a warning call about a “security threat.”

The 27‑year‑old announced the “incredibly difficult” decision in an Instagram post, citing the safety of fans, staff and her team as the main concern.

Police response – Tulsa Police Captain Richard Meulenberg confirmed that an anonymous caller warned of “shots fired and bombs.” The department conducted a full sweep of the 19,000‑seat BOK Center, with sniffer dogs and security checks, and found no credible threat.

“The event was ready to go,” the captain said, adding that the call “disrupted the entire event.” He stressed that no danger was detected.

The arena issued its own statement, noting that the safety of everyone was its “absolute priority” and that the show “cannot proceed.” It promised apologies to disappointed fans and pledged to share refund information soon.

Langley is currently riding a wave of success, with her single “Choosin’ Texas” breaking records for the longest‑running U.S. chart number one, and a sweep of the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Her decision comes after the event’s venue took extra precautions, including a repeated security sweep, but ultimately deflected the show for the safety of more than 19,000 tickets.
