On Oct 31, the Lebanese Health Ministry announced that 8,956 people have died and 30,664 were wounded by Israeli operations since October 2023. Between March 2 and Oct 30, 2026, 4,389 people were killed and 12,428 injured, according to the ministry and Al‑Manar TV. A U.S.-mediated framework agreement signed last month with Israel faces criticism for its unclear legality and lack of a withdrawal timetable.

Lebanese Health Ministry said on Thursday that 8,956 people have been killed and 30,664 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 2023, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.

The ministry’s figures show that 4,389 persons were killed and 12,428 injured between March 2 and October 30, 2026; Al‑Manar TV cited the ministry for these numbers.

The Lebanese government and Israeli forces signed a framework agreement last month under U.S. mediation after several rounds of direct talks in Washington, a deal that critics say has an uncertain legal basis and no clear timetable for the withdrawal of Israeli troops.

Lebanon continues to label the operation as aggression, while the framework agreement was created to end the ongoing war between Israel and Hezbollah.
