Monday, Israeli forces carried out multiple attacks across Gaza, killing at least four Palestinians and causing a fifth person to die later from wounds sustained earlier, reports Al Jazeera and New Arab. The casualties came amid an ongoing conflict in which the Palestinian Ministry of Health estimates 1,593 Palestinians have been killed since the October 2025 ceasefire and 5,748 wounded.

According to Al Jazeera, two Palestinians were killed in a gun attack and an air raid on southern Khan Younis. A third was killed during a drone strike on the central al‑Musaddar village, while a fourth died when an Israeli strike hit a vehicle in Gaza City's Tal al‑Hawa neighbourhood. The victim of the latter was identified as Hani Hamed Kahil, and five others were wounded.

Al Jazeera also reported that a fifth person, Youssef Abu Younis, died of injuries sustained in an Israeli attack on a police post in al‑Mawasi on Sunday. The death brought Monday's reported toll to five. Earlier that week, at least five Palestinian police officers were killed in a Sunday attack.

New Arab echoed these details, noting that Israeli strikes on Monday killed at least four Palestinians and wounded several others in the Gaza Strip, citing the territory's health officials. The article did not list specific locations or victim names.

Israeli military statements claim the strikes targeted Palestinian fighters in three separate strikes, but no further details were released. A representative of the Board of Peace, a U.S.‑established body, arrived in Israel on Monday to seek permission to bring in tents and accelerate reconstruction in the area.
