HOUSTON (AP) — More than 100 homes have been damaged after a tornado touched down in a residential area outside Houston, authorities in Texas reported on Monday. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. Visuals shared on social media by the Harris County Precinct 4 constable depicted roofs stripped of shingles and debris blocking various roads. The affected area is primarily in the Memorial Northwest neighborhood. Responding to the aftermath, the Houston Fire Department sent a saw team to remove fallen trees. In light of the tornado, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for southeastern Texas, including Houston, which will remain in effect until 1 a.m. Tuesday, along with severe thunderstorm warnings for various parts of the region.
