Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is under scrutiny again after Latroya Grayson filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) on December 20, 2024. The docuement, represented by attorney Ariel Mitchell, details a troubling incident that allegedly took place in 2006. Grayson claims she won contest tickets from Oklahoma radio station KJAMZ 105.3 FM to attend a Black Party sponsored by Combs and other affiliates, including Atlantic Records.

The lengthy 45-page complaint lays out how Grayson, at the age of 23, traveled from Oklahoma to New York, allegedly "lured" by Mike Savas, a former employee of Atlantic Records. The suit mentions that Grayson was not only a contest winner but reportedly present on behalf of her half-sister, who is not named in the suit. It includes an initial invitation to the event initially scheduled for October 6, 2006, which was later rescheduled.

Upon reaching the party, Grayson recounts mingling with notable figures, including rapper Babz. However, after consuming two pre-made drinks, she states that she fell ill and has no memory of the subsequent events, waking up later in Saint Vincent’s Medical Center with a hospital identification band dated October 17, 2006. Grayson alleges she was drugged, assaulted, and robbed during her time at what she describes as “Diddy’s Black Party.”

The lawsuit also describes Grayson's experience upon returning home, including an anonymous phone call threatening her not to pursue Combs legally. The complaint outlines a broader narrative of racketeering activities against Combs and associates, implicating them in a web of depravity under the banner of the RICO Act.

Adding another layer to the case, Mike Savas is also named as a defendant. Savas, who was a Promotions Coordinator at Atlantic Records at the time, reportedly has a thriving YouTube channel and operates a company called SuperFan Live, which offers tour packages. He has made claims of global ambitions, stating he intends to have properties on every continent by 2020, complicating the challenge of serving him legal notice since he is currently traveling in Brazil.

This lawsuit marks another significant chapter in the ongoing controversies surrounding Sean Combs, raising the question of accountability for actions purportedly committed in the past and their implications on his current standing in the industry.
