All Eurostar trains out of London towards Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels have been canceled due to a power outage affecting the Channel Tunnel. This disruption follows the failure of a Le Shuttle train caused by the outage.

Staff at London St Pancras station have urged passengers to postpone their travel and make new reservations for later dates. By midday, a dozen services connecting the UK with France, Belgium, and the Netherlands had already been scrapped, with numerous others delayed or rescheduled.

Le Shuttle services between Folkestone and Calais have also been halted because of the same power supply issue that occurred overnight.

National Rail has indicated that significant disruptions will likely continue until the end of the day. Eurostar has advised travelers to rearrange their planned journeys at no extra cost or opt for a refund or an e-voucher.

As per Eurostar's latest updates, the faulty Le Shuttle train has been removed from the tunnel, and services are anticipated to restart around 15:00 CET (14:00 GMT).

As customers experience delays, those traveling on Le Shuttle reported extended waiting periods of up to three and a half hours. Some passengers expressed frustration over the lack of information provided during these delays, leading to chaotic conditions at terminals.

Travelers at Calais are facing similar three-hour delays and have reported a total absence of updates, food, or water while stuck at the station.

Eurostar and Le Shuttle continue to communicate with travelers, requesting patience as they work toward restoring regular services.
