Country star Ella Langley said she had to cancel her sold‑out concert at Oklahoma’s BOK Center on Friday night after receiving a phone call that warned of a serious threat to fans and staff.

The singer posted on Instagram that the threat involved "shots fired and bombs," prompting the Tulsa Police Department to conduct a full sweep of the arena before the show was set to start.

Police Chief Richard Meulenberg confirmed that the venue was inspected several times with no credible danger found. He added that the call "disrupted this entire event" for thousands of attendees.

Langley apologized to fans, noting that ticket refunds would be issued "as soon as possible." BOK Center issued its own statement prioritising safety and explaining that the decision could not be delayed.

Despite the cancellation, Langley’s recent chart‑topping single "Choosin’ Texas" and her sweep of the Academy of Country Music Awards in May keep her status at the forefront of the genre.

For fans in Tulsa, the abrupt halt was a disappointment, but security officials say no incident took place and no harm came to attendees.
