Following a dramatic incident on Monday at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Delta Air Lines has announced that it is offering $30,000 to each of the passengers aboard Delta Flight 4819, which crashed while attempting to land. The flight, which traveled from Minneapolis, had a total of 80 occupants—76 passengers and four crew members—all of whom fortunately survived after the plane made a rough landing and flipped over, resting belly-up with its right wing severed.

According to Delta, the airline confirmed on Wednesday that all passengers were being informed of the offer, described as having “no strings attached” and not affecting any rights. Only one passenger among those taken to local hospitals remained hospitalized as of Wednesday morning, but overall, none suffered life-threatening injuries.

Amid the recent developments, Rochon Genova, a Canadian law firm, announced that it has been retained by some passengers for potential legal support. Delta's Chief Executive Ed Bastian acknowledged the incident during an interview, asserting that the flight was managed by an experienced crew but refrained from sharing additional details regarding the ongoing investigation.

By Wednesday evening, the wreckage of the aircraft was removed from the critical runways of Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada’s busiest airport, which it had temporarily disrupted.
