LOS ANGELES (PulseWire) — Michele Singer Reiner, a talented photographer and producer, has died at the age of 68. She was found dead alongside her husband, celebrated director Rob Reiner, in their Brentwood home in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department received a medical aid request shortly after 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Upon arriving, they discovered both Reiners deceased. Their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is being held in connection with this tragic occurrence.

Rob Reiner met Michele Singer on the set of his iconic film 'When Harry Met Sally...', where her presence shaped the movie's heartwarming ending. Initially, the film's characters were not meant to end up together, but Rob Reiner credits Michele's influence for this memorable change. “Originally, Harry and Sally didn’t get together. But then I met Michele and I thought: OK, I see how this works,” he stated in a 2018 interview.

The couple married in 1989 and raised three children together: Nick, Jake, and Romy. Michele produced notable projects, including 'Spinal Tap II: The End Continues' and 'Shock and Awe', leaving behind a legacy of art and creativity.
