The US Justice Department is set to initiate the release of crucial files linked to Jeffrey Epstein, as mandated by law, although not all documents will be available immediately. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche reported that several hundred thousand pages are expected to be published initially, with additional documents following in the weeks to come.

This release is part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bill that received widespread support in Congress and was signed into law by President Donald Trump, who altered his previous opposition to the release of these records.

The documents are expected to contain details from investigations into Epstein's misconduct, although many sections will likely be redacted to protect sensitive information.

“Today is the 30 days when I expect that we're going to release several hundred thousand documents,” Blanche stated during an appearance on Fox & Friends. He noted that the files would include various forms of material including photographs relevant to the investigations surrounding Epstein.

Lawmakers are actively working through a collection of around 20,000 documents and 95,000 photographs sourced from Epstein's estate. Democratic Congressman Robert Garcia stated that many of these documents arrived without context, requiring careful redaction to protect the identities of potential victims.

High-profile individuals, including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Bill Gates, appear in some documents and photographs linked to Epstein's activities. However, many portrayed have denied any involvement in illegal activities associated with Epstein.
