Russian forces targeted the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences building, breaching its walls and igniting a severe fire. The attack resulted in one fatality and three injuries, as confirmed by Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
Emergency crews poured into the blaze, with firefighters extracting residents who huddled on the windowsill to escape the flames. They were seen shoving people out of windows onto the street below.
