Amid growing concerns after the death of Raphaël Graven, popular French content creator known online as Jean Pormanove, an autopsy has indicated that his passing was not the result of any traumatic injury, according to prosecutor Damien Martinelli. Graven, who streamed live videos on the Kick platform, was discovered unresponsive at his residence in Contes, situated north of Nice, on the previous Monday.

In response to the incident, French government minister Clara Chappaz condemned his death as an "absolute horror" and has initiated a judicial inquiry to explore the circumstances that led to his passing. Despite the unsettling nature of the case, Martinelli confirmed on Thursday that initial medical examinations detected no signs of trauma— either internal or external— or burns. A few bruises and healed lesions were identified but are not believed to be related to his death.

The prosecutor noted that the likely causes for Graven's demise might be medical and/or toxicological in nature. It is suggested that he may have suffered from unidentified heart issues, as well as undergoing treatment for a thyroid condition. In light of the situation, Kick’s representatives indicated they are "urgently reviewing" the details surrounding Graven's death.

Local reports emerged indicating that the popular streamer had previously faced aggressive episodes during his broadcasts and had been affected by severe sleep deprivation, with claims that he died in his sleep while live on air. As the investigation unfolds, several individuals present at the scene during his last moments have been interviewed by the police, and crucial equipment alongside streaming videos has been confiscated to assist in elucidating the events leading to his death.
