Two Dutch nationals barred from Indonesia after organising an illegal run in Bali that allegedly discriminated against local participants.

Indonesia’s immigration authorities have banned two Dutch nationals for organising an unlicensed “disco run” in Bali that was accused of excluding Indonesian participants. The event, run by Entourage Bali, sparked outrage online after claims that the club favoured foreigners. Both men have left for Singapore and will not be allowed entry to Indonesia. The governor of Bali pledged strict action, while the immigration chief called the club “a state within a state.” Entourage Bali said the exclusion was due to a technical error and has paused all future events.

Indonesia's immigration authorities have banned two Dutch nationals who organised an unlicensed “disco run” in Bali, accusing the group Entourage Bali of excluding local participants.

The club, popular among foreign digital nomads, was alleged to have rejected Indonesian applicants while accepting foreigners, sparking anger online.

Both men, aged 35 and 37, have left Bali for Singapore before the ban and will no longer be allowed into Indonesia.

Bali Governor I Wayan Koster has pledged “strict action” to prevent similar incidents, while immigration chief Hendarsam Marantoko called the club “a state within a state.”

Entourage Bali claims its events were open to all, cites a technical error in its automated approval system, and has suspended future activities pending review.
