Former model Stacey Williams has made headlines following a CNN interview where she alleged that former President Donald Trump groped her in the 1990s. The incident reportedly took place in 1993 at Trump Tower in New York City, after convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Trump. Williams recounted her experience, saying, “The second he [Trump] was in front of me, he pulled me into him, and his hands were just on me and didn’t come off.”

In her detailed account, Williams stated that Trump touched her "the side of my breasts, on my hips, back down to my butt, back up," while clearly engaging with Epstein. She described the entire experience as "an out of body experience," adding, "I froze."

In response to these allegations, the Trump campaign vehemently denied the claims made by Williams. Campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt asserted, "These accusations... announced on a Harris Campaign call two weeks before the election, are unequivocally false." The campaign further alleged the accusations were orchestrated to distract from claims against Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris's husband, who is facing allegations of slapping an ex-girlfriend.

Since Trump's entry into politics, numerous women have accused him of sexual assault, all of which he categorically denies. Recently, a civil jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll, who has successfully won two defamation lawsuits against him after he made derogatory remarks about her.

As the landscape for the upcoming 2024 election heats up, these resurfacing allegations and responses on both sides highlight the intense scrutiny and political maneuvering characteristic of the current U.S. political climate.
