While details about the duration and financial specifics of the new deal remain undisclosed, it has been previously reported that their initial agreement was valued at around $100 million (£75 million). The announcement coincides with the upcoming launch of the second series of "With Love, Meghan," set to premiere later this month.

Previous audience figures have indicated a lukewarm reception for their first series, which failed to breach Netflix's top 300 shows—garnering only 5.3 million views. In contrast, the couple’s earlier documentary, "Harry & Meghan," which detailed their exit from royal duties, attracted a substantial viewership of 23.4 million shortly after its release in December 2022.

Additionally, Archewell is set to release a holiday edition of their cookery show, inviting viewers to celebrate Christmas with Meghan in Montecito. The franchise is also branching out into food and beverage products, with a range that includes rosé wine and jams. Furthermore, a new production entitled "Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within," focusing on a Ugandan orphanage, is slated for release later this year.

Netflix's chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, acknowledged the couple's significant impact, stating their stories resonate widely, and highlighted the success of "Harry & Meghan" as a testament to their influence.
