Chris Brown, aged 36, was granted bail by a Southwark Crown Court judge following his arrest last week at a hotel in Manchester, England. He faces charges of grievous bodily harm for allegedly attacking music producer with a tequila bottle at Tape London nightclub on February 19, 2023.

Brown's legal team sought bail during a recent hearing, which was approved by the judge. The ruling allows him to continue with his international tour, scheduled to kick off in Amsterdam on June 8. Following his performance in Amsterdam, Brown will travel to several European countries, including Germany, the UK, Ireland, France, and Portugal, before heading to the United States.

Judge Tony Baumgartner set specific conditions for Brown's release, which include surrendering his passport when he is not touring and maintaining distance from Tape London, the site of the alleged incident. His representatives secured the bail with a deposit of five million pounds ($6.7 million), which is at risk of forfeiture if he fails to adhere to the imposed conditions.

Thus far, Brown has not entered a plea regarding the charges he faces, as British law restricts reporting details that may influence a jury in a future trial. Additionally, a fellow American rapper, Omololu Akinlolu, 38, known as HoodyBaby, faces similar charges in connection with the same incident and is also scheduled for a hearing at Southwark Crown Court on June 20.
