On Monday, Nasser Hospital - the largest in southern Gaza and one of the few still partially operating in the Strip - was hit twice by Israeli strikes.

At least 20 people were reportedly killed, including journalists and medical staff. The attack has drawn international condemnation and the United Nations has said there must be justice. On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it a tragic mishap. The Israeli military stated on Tuesday that the strike aimed at a camera positioned by Hamas, although evidence was not provided, and further investigation was needed into how the strikes were authorized.
