A Ukrainian drone attack on Wednesday night struck a large Ozon logistics center in the city of Adygeysk, Adygea Republic, in southern Russia, setting the warehouse on fire, officials said. Ozon announced that the building’s roof partially collapsed and that it had evacuated all staff with no injuries reported. A social media post shared by the Ukrainian national news agency Ukrinform noted the damage and the ongoing emergency response.
"Ozon’s release highlighted that the incident destroyed a 10,000‑square‑meter facility, which is one of its largest distribution hubs in the region. It said that it had removed all out‑of‑stock products and would cancel orders that could not be fulfilled, temporarily suspending acceptance of new deliveries from sellers at the site while directing shipments to alternate centers. Our logistics center in the Adygea Republic was attacked by a drone.
Russian Defense Minister statements said that 709 drones were intercepted over 11 regions during the night, reflecting the ongoing war‑time drone campaigns that have targeted Ozon and rival e‑commerce giant Wildberries, as reported by the Kyiv Independent and Meduza. In August 2026, Ukrainian forces struck four Ozon warehouses in Krasnodar, Dagestan, Stavropol and Adygea, and 15 Wildberries logistics hubs were reportedly hit in the North Caucasus.
Emergency crews continued to work the blaze, with parts of the roof collapsing into the interior of the warehouse, according to the Ukrainian national news source. No injuries were confirmed by local officials, although the incident has prompted a pause in the company’s operations in southern Russia as it assesses the damage and modifies delivery routes.
