The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) warned on November 3, 2026, that light fog and rain are affecting Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region, with visibility reduced across Dammam, Dhahran, and Hafr Al-Batin. The fog is predicted to linger until 8 a.m. local time, while the rain will continue until 11 p.m. the same day.

In Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, the NCM reported brisk winds stirring dust, which further diminishes visibility on highways and in open areas. The local meteorologists cautioned that the combination of rain, dust, and fog could create hazardous driving conditions.

Road authorities are advised to exercise caution and to monitor updates from the NCM for any changes to the weather outlook. The NCM has emphasized that the reduced visibility in these key cities is primarily caused by the light fog, and that the persistent rain may exacerbate the situation throughout the evening.

Passengers and commuters in Dammam and Dhahran are urged to plan for potential delays and to stay informed via official NCM communications for real‑time updates on the weather.
