At least four people have been killed and several others injured following a shooting at a school in southern Turkey, according to the local governor. The incident occurred at Ayser Calık Secondary School in the Kahramanmaraş area, as reported by local media.

There has been no official confirmation regarding the identities of the deceased or the details surrounding the attacker. This tragic event follows closely on the heels of another shooting in which 16 individuals were injured after an ex-student opened fire at a different high school in the south of Turkey, subsequently taking his own life.

The motive behind Wednesday's shooting remains unknown, prompting an active investigation. Reports indicate that the assailant entered two classrooms armed with five guns and seven magazines, which were allegedly owned by his father.
