Tiger Woods has been released on bail following his arrest on charges of driving under the influence after rolling his car in a crash in Florida.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office stated that the renowned golfer was charged with driving under the influence, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test after clipping a truck and rolling his Land Rover in Jupiter Island.

According to Sheriff John Budensiek, the incident occurred Friday afternoon, and while officers did not initially suspect Woods was impaired by alcohol, they thought he might be under the influence of an unknown substance.

The 50-year-old golfer had to crawl out of the passenger door of his vehicle. He passed a breathalyzer test and refused a urine test, with no injuries reported from the incident. Woods spent eight hours in jail before being released on bail, which is the minimum time required under state law.

Budensiek explained that the crash occurred as Woods attempted to overtake a pressure cleaner truck at a high rate of speed. While at the scene, DUI investigators noticed signs of impairment from Woods, who explained his injuries and surgeries during their evaluations. The tests conducted during the incident led to his arrest, but he opted out of the urine test.

President Donald Trump expressed his concern for Woods, stating, I feel so badly. He has got some difficulty. There was an accident. That's all I know. He's an amazing person - an amazing man. Despite these charges being misdemeanors, this event marks yet another hurdle in Woods' long and tumultuous career.

This incident follows a serious crash in 2021 that left him severely injured. Woods is now battling to maintain his comeback as he looks to participate in the upcoming Masters tournament. With the latest setback, his participation appears increasingly uncertain.}
