Rihanna Reportedly In Studio, A$AP Rocky Confirms New Music

On Wednesday evening during the Jason Lee podcast, rapper A$AP Rocky revealed that Rihanna is “in the studio right now,” sparking speculation about a comeback album after more than a decade of silence since 2016’s Anti.

Rocky clarified that the singer is not collaborating on a double album and that she is “cooking” within her own creative space, refusing to attribute her lack of new output to familial commitments. He added that he might “get in trouble” for spreading the news.

Rihanna, who has since released the 2022 Lift Me Up soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and several standalone singles, has also concentrated on growing her beauty empire, Fenty Beauty, and the lingerie brand, Feminine Energy. Her net worth is estimated by Forbes at over a billion dollars.

While Rocky did not comment on whether he and Rihanna are married, the announcement has reignited fans’ enthusiasm for a full-length record from the Barbadian icon. If true, the new album would mark a rare break from her current hiatus and could potentially be among the most anticipated releases of the year.
