More than twenty women have come forward with allegations against Zou Zhenhao, a 28-year-old Chinese student previously convicted of drugging and raping ten women in both the UK and China. The Metropolitan Police reported that 23 women contacted them with new accusations after Zou’s conviction last month. Some accusers reside in Britain, while others are scattered globally, revealing a vast network of potential victims that police believe may reach over 50 based on evidence gathered from Zou's personal devices.

Zou, who completed his Ph.D. at University College London from 2019 to 2024, used dating apps like Bumble and social media platforms, including WeChat and Little Red Book, to meet and lure his victims. Officers noted that many of the women targeted were Chinese students residing in London, whom he may have encountered at various social events.

He was found guilty on March 5 of 11 counts of rape, along with charges related to drug possession for sexual offenses, voyeurism, and possessing extreme pornography. While two women testified against him in court, reports indicate that eight other victims remain unidentified. Due to the nature of the assaults, which involved drugging the women, investigators believe some victims may be unaware of the crimes committed against them. With Zou’s conviction secured, police have issued a public appeal urging any further victims to step forward and share their experiences.
