An Israeli airstrike targeting Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza has resulted in the reported deaths of 15 individuals, including four journalists. The attack unfolded in two phases, with the initial strike followed by a second as rescuers arrived on the scene, according to local emergency services. The deceased journalists include personnel from Reuters, the Associated Press, Al Jazeera, and NBC.

The aftermath was chaotic, with images depicting thick smoke and panicked crowds amidst the sounds of ambulance sirens. Notably, the fatalities include Husam al-Masri, a cameraman for Reuters, and Mariam Dagga, a freelancer for the Associated Press, who was 33 years old. Al Jazeera's Mohammed Salameh and NBC photographer Muath Abu Taha were also among the victims. The incident highlights the ongoing conflict's toll on media professionals working in high-risk areas, leaving the Israeli military and government without immediate comment on the attack.
