Three people were killed and 15 injured after a blast struck a Moscow restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square.

The explosion occurred around 8:00 p.m. local time during a wedding reception being held inside the establishment. Witnesses on the Baza Telegram channel described the scene as chaotic, with some guests emerging from the kitchen covered in blood.

Police say the attack was likely triggered in the kitchen area, though the exact cause remains unconfirmed. Roads around the square were temporarily closed and dozens of cyclists who had gathered for an evening ride had to cancel.

Heavy‑armed police surrounded the scene and cordoned off the area. RIA footage shows officers standing guard as emergency crews attend to the injured.

The incident has left the city in shock and authorities are still investigating the blast.
