Good Good apologises after controversial golf ad pushes woman to ground

Good Good, the YouTube golf brand launched in 2020, has pulled a Callaway‑sponsored advert that showed a woman being shoved for a new driver.

The two‑minute clip, which you can find posted on the brand’s X profile ❮link, drew immediate backlash for its depiction of violence against a female golfer. In response, the brand issued a public apology and removed the video from all channels.

Good Good said: “We posted a video that ultimately depicted actions not aligned with our values as a brand. We have since taken that content down and sincerely apologise. Good Good has always stood for making golf more inclusive to all, and we will continue to ensure that is our mission moving forward.”

Callaway, which has worked with Good Good since 2023, called the content “disappointing” and reaffirmed a shared commitment to inclusivity: “We look forward to working together to ensure a more inclusive space in golf.”

The brand also reminded readers that it sponsors a PGA Tour tournament and will launch the inaugural Good Good Championship in Texas this November – a partnership that the PGA Tour has publicly championed as an inclusive, welcoming platform for all golfers.
