Good Good Golf, a YouTube channel with over 2 million subscribers, has issued an apology and taken down a Callaway golf‑driver advertisement after it provoked a public backlash. The promotional clip showed a co‑founder, Garrett Clark, pushing a female professional golfer—Alexis Miestowski—to the ground while shouting, “Don’t touch my new driver.” The scene was widely criticised as trivialising violence against women.

In a statement posted to Twitter (https://x.com/goodgood_golf/status/2091243669055574303), the brand said: "We posted a video that ultimately depicted actions that are not aligned with our values as a brand. We have since taken that content down and sincerely apologise." Good Good added it has always stood for making golf more inclusive and will continue that mission.

Callaway, who began working with Good Good in 2023, released its own comment: "We are disappointed by the content that was posted, and are appreciative of Good Good for addressing this. We look forward to working together to ensure a more inclusive space in golf."

Good Good was launched in 2020 as a YouTube channel and has become one of the largest golf‑related content creators. Its regular production includes on‑camera challenges featuring both men and women, in‑house advertisements, and original TV shows. The PGA Tour has been actively partnering with social‑media creators; last year Good Good announced a new tournament to be staged in Texas in November. A PGA Tour spokesperson said the sport remains a welcoming space, noting "We do not condone violence in any form, and the deleted video does not reflect our values or commitment to inclusivity and respect."
