On July 8, just two days prior to Beyoncé's first show in Atlanta, hard drives containing unreleased music, show plans, and crucial set-lists were stolen from a rental vehicle used by her choreographer, Christopher Grant, and one of her dancers, Diandre Blue. The theft occurred after the two parked their rented Black Jeep Wagoneer and entered a nearby food hall. Upon returning, they discovered that the vehicle’s rear window had been shattered and two suitcases were missing, which included "five jump drives containing watermarked music, unreleased music, footage plans for shows past and future, and set list," according to the police report.

Other personal items taken included a laptop, designer clothing, and Apple AirPods. Atlanta police have issued an arrest warrant for the suspect but have yet to release their identity. Investigators have utilized tracking information from the laptop and headphones in an attempt to locate the stolen items and also collected fingerprints from the vehicle, finding "two very light prints." It remains unclear if the stolen goods have been recovered.

Beyoncé has been performing in Atlanta as part of her Cowboy Carter tour since July 10, concluding her series of shows on Monday night. Notably, her husband, rapper Jay Z, made a surprise appearance during the third night of her performances. The singer's team has yet to comment on the incident.
